Q: Will taking the course lead me into a full-time job?
A: It can. There are several options! Many work full-time as coordinators while others do so part-time. Some work strictly on a consulting basis by assisting the bride to plan and coordinate all parts of her wedding, including the recommendation of a florist, caterer, photographer, bridal shop, reception site, etc. Others choose to assist at the rehearsal, wedding and reception only. Many coordinators work full- or part-time in another wedding-related business and use the knowledge they gain from the Home Study course to serve brides more professionally, which then helps their primary business grow.
Q: What determines success?
A: The foundation for success as a wedding coordinator is knowledge, which is also the basis of confidence. Confidence leads to professionalism, creativity, and excellence in your business. Word-of-mouth recommendations and the establishment of your reputation as an authority on weddings follow naturally. Your progression in these areas is the goal of Weddings Beautiful Worldwide.
Q: Is there any difference in taking the home study course with WBMS and WBW?
A: Yes. The main differences are you get more benefits with WBMS such as
- 6 months free membership from Weddings Beautiful Worldwide. You have the option of continuing your membership as a member of Weddings Beautiful Worldwide when your 6 months membership expires. Membership fees are $119 semi-annually.
- local supports in Malaysia/ Singapore
- localise notes including the wedding customs, traditions in Malaysia/ Singapore, contract etc.
- invitation to the activities held in Malaysia/ Singapore for Wedding Professionals (fees applied).

Q: What are the procedures in enrolling?
A: Follow the procedures below:
- Go to "Course Info & Enrollment "
- Choose the Certification Program of your choice.
- Click on the button “Enroll Now”
- You will be asked to fill in the Certification Program Enrollment Form.
- Then click on the button “Enroll Now”.
- You will be asked to confirm on your email entered.
- After the confirmation of email is completed. You will be asked to click on the link given “Make Payment Now” to proceed to the payment gateway to pay online (HOME STUDY ONLY). or Goto the next question for other payment methods.
- Once your payment is completed, you will receive the entire course via email. Or you can download the course from a specific location with a password given.
Q: What are the payment methods? (付款方式 ?)
A: There are three (5) payment methods
- 0% Instalment Payment Plan - For HSBC Credit Card Only (HSBC 信用卡)
0% interest, 12 monthly installments (0%利息,12个月分期付款) (course taught in class ONLY)
- Credit Cards (信用卡) - Master, VISA (Pay at our School)
- Payment Gateway (online payment) (网上付款). After the confirmation of email is completed. You will be asked to click on the link given “Make Payment Now” to proceed to your payment gateway. (HOME STUDY ONLY)
- Personal Cheque (个人支票) make payable to: ADAMAS WEDDINGS SDN. BHD., bank in to Public Bank (A/C No.: 3147547102).
- Bank Transfer (银行转帐) to Public Bank Account (A/C No.: 3147547102). (Pay To: ADAMAS WEDDINGS SDN. BHD., Name of Bank: Public Bank Berhad, Bank Address: Lot 403 & 404, Jln 1A/1, Sungai Buloh, Shah Alam, 40160 Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia)
For course taught in class, Payment Gateway cannot be used, in other words, DO NOT pay online with Payment Gateway (ipay88)..

Q: Can I pay by installment?
A:. For course taught in class, there are two (2) methods for payment by installment*
ADAMAS - Installment
payment by 3- installments (total is RM9,500) is as follows:-
RM5,000 upon enrolling of course
RM3,000 before/ on the first day of class
RM1,500 before the 5th of the following month after the course has started
0% Instalment Payment Plan
Payment using your HSBC Credit Card, 0% interest, 12 monthly installment. You must come to our school in order to made the payment.
*No additional discounts such as early bird discount will be given for payment by installment.
Q: Besides the fees stated, is there any other cost involved?
A: For Home Study Program, there is an option of purchasing the printed course materials fort RM250 contact us for delivery charge. For WBMS Course Taught in Class, it is a must to purchase the printed course materials from us that cost RM250. You may collect the book from our school. Purchase of the book <“Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill> from us is optional, price varies as order will only be placed upon request. You could purchase the book in the book store, but you will need that book in order to complete assignment 12. Q: After I got certified as wedding planner, besides running my own business, is there any alternative for me?
A: We do have hotel wedding Sales Managers, Caterers, Florists, Musicians etc who have taken this course to add another layer to their business offering.
Q: What are the challenges in the industry?
A: Many, as weddings can never be perfect, bear this in mind. You learn something new every time you plan a wedding. The assignments do share some common problems or challenges that many planners faced. The most importantly is you must keep yourself updated by sharing ideas with the other planners in the industries. Be a member of Weddings Beautiful or other associations for wedding professionals, and forum for wedding planners.
Q: Besides all the theory part mentioned in the course topics, is there any other practical part which we can be apprentice?
A: Currently we do not provide any industrial training. We do invite our students to the activities/ conferences for Wedding Professionals in Malaysia & Singapore (fees applied). If help needed by other planners we do give our students the priority, but this is subject to availability. For the Course Taught in Class, we do include many practical sessions, see enrollment for details.
Q: Do I receive any recognition for completing the course?
A:
After the eighteen assignments have been graded (and the grades are satisfactory), you receive the title "Certified Wedding Specialist" with a prestigious certificate suitable for framing. Should the questions be answered unsatisfactorily, you are sent a new questionnaire and asked to study the material again before completing it. You must pass all assignments. Our goal is to help you become a Professional Wedding Coordinator, so all assignments must have a passing grade before you receive your certification.

Q: Do I have to complete the assignments in numerical order?
A: No, you can work in any order you wish but you have to complete all assignments to receive your certification.
Q: What should I do when I complete an assignment?
A: There are four (4) ways to submit your assignment:
- Copy and paste the assignment to a word document and send it as an attachment to wbms@adamasweddings.com.
- Copy your exam to an email and send to wbms@adamasweddings.com.
- Fax the assignments to +603 6156 6367.
- Send by post. (not recommended)
Q: Who will grade my exams for each assignment?
A: Dr Kien Ling KHOO will grade each individual assignment and provide feedback when necessary.
Q: What should I do if I run into a problem with an assignment?
A: Call us, come over to our school or email wbms@adamasweddings.com.
Q: How long does it take to complete the course?
A: You proceed at your own pace. It is to your advantage to set a goal for completion and send the assignments in on a regular basis. From four to six months is adequate, if you are serious about the course.
Q: Is there a time limit to complete the course?
A: Yes, not exceeding 1 year after the date of purchase.
